Missouri Department of Natural Resources – Lewis and Clark State Office Building

Jefferson City, Missouri, USA

The objective of the project was to design a building that showcased affordable and cost-effective sustainable strategies. Kawneer’s thermal curtain wall and framing systems contributed to the building’s LEED Platinum® rating. The combined effects of the building envelope significantly reduced the building’s cooling and heating management using natural ventilation and supply, achieving a 53% improvement in energy efficiency over other state buildings.
