DEMONSTRATIVE PHOTOVOLTAICS
Located in the commune of Meylan, in the greater Grenoble area, the Lycée du Grésivaudan was built at the end of the Eighties, following the laws on decentralisation that handed the running of secondary schools over to local authorities.
 
Two factors contributed to the implementation of an installation project producing photovoltaic electricity. On the one hand, the European Universol programme aimed at equipping 25 buildings in three countries, of which 11 were in France. On the other, two teachers from the lycée were highly motivated to set up and complete this project.
