One of the most striking and certainly best known industrial buildings in Döbeln is the dome structure, built in 1938.
 
In 2002/2003 the listed building was partially renovated. The architect was particularly concerned about retaining the format sizes and dividing the windows using narrow, horizontal and vertical mullions.
 
These requirements were met with the AA 610 series “TIP” renovation.
