Order Analysis and preparation technician

Full-time open-ended contract (CDI) based in Lézat sur Lèze (09)

Working in close collaboration with the sales staff, quote analysts and production managers, the successful applicant will be responsible for analysing and handling orders from our clients in the building industry, joiners, mirror specialists, specialised wholesalers, etc.
The candidate will be familiar with the building industry and will have a good understanding of building regulations, especially in the area of joinery, will know how to read plans and sections and calculate measurements using quotations software. He/she will be computer literate, well organised and attentive to detail, will display a business mindset and aim to work in a dynamic environment.
 
Job description:
 Calculate and organise all the parameters (measurements, production blueprints, lists and sizes of materials and components) required to manufacture the products
 Manage the processing of orders in line with the negotiated terms and conditions, dealing with them promptly to ensure effective follow-up and timely delivery to clients
 Provide clients with technical assistance by phone (on-site difficulties, failure to understand the documentation…) and draw up the blueprint work plans or details on request

Profile:
 2-year NVQ or similar in Building Industry/Building Economics
 Knowledge of the product, aluminium joinery
 Knowledge of the building industry environment
 Material resistance calculations
 Good understanding of plans and sections
 Preparation/launch of manufacturing process software
 IT literate: Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet
 Good phone skills
 Negotiation skills
 Good customer service skills
 Organisation, attention to detail
