		1980 Paneline® Entrance The Kawneer Paneline Entrance was the first truly concealed panic device integrated into a door design. The entrance offered improved security and contemporary styling which compliments the overall entrance design.



1980 Barrier Free Entrances Developed and offered a full 12 years before the enactment of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1992, this was the first entrance system to designed specifically to meet the needs of the handicapped. Several of the innovations included: no thresholds in the openings, extra length in door pulls, hand accuated automatic door openers and force reduction mechanisms for closers to assist with door opening.



		1985 Tuffline® Entrance A heavy walled entrance system engineered for performance, protection and design flexibility. Tuffline entrances meet the economic and high traffic demands of schools and institutions-the standard in stadium construction.



1986 Trusswall Trusswall was the first architectural aluminum truss system designed for use in large span openings that previously required vertical steel trusses. This system coupled versatility with a high performing truss design previously unavailable from architectural aluminum, offering optional covers and web designs.



		1988 IsoLock™ Thermal Break Technology An innovative thermal break design which mechanically bonds to the aluminum profile preventing dry-shrinkage or loss of adhesion, thus ensuring integrity of the frame. Currently, IsoLock is a lanced pour and debridge configuration, evolving from two earlier approaches: the T-Lock and Wedge-Lock.
