  3. Why should I include AAMA Certification in my window specifications?
    AAMA (American Architectural Manufacturers Association) Certification provides the assurance for you and your client that the windows supplied for your project will be the same windows as those tested and represented in the test reports. The AAMA Certification process includes unannounced twice-a-year plant inspections to verify manufacturing compliance to AAMA standards.

  4. What is Traco Architectural Services Program?
    This is a program, which employs an expert staff of Traco Architectural/Sales Consultants to address the specific needs and concerns of architects. Traco's experts can help design professionals obtain factual, unbiased and comprehensive window and door information so that informed decisions can be made.

  5. How can Traco assist me with writing a specification?
    Traco can provide technical and product specific assistance for writing specifications. Additionally, Traco's specialists can also assist with project specific issues as they relate to specifications.

  6. How do I specify custom finishes or colors?
    Traco can supply either anodized or painted finishes. Your Traco representative is the source for information about finish options, availability, warranty and specification preparation so that you receive exactly what you specified for your client.

  8. How can I receive a picture of the product I am specifying?
    Contact your Traco representative or visit your nearest Traco office.
