Commercial Training Manager
As the Commercial Training Manager, Chris Fenwick is responsible for developing and delivering product training to Kawneer employees and customers in the United States and Canada. Chris works with the Kawneer Training Department to conduct Modular Schools, which cover the design of various product types – from storefront and curtain wall, to entrances and window systems. In addition, Chris and his team conduct Mechanics Schools to teach the contract glazier fabrication and installation methodology. Internally, Chris’ department oversees the induction of new employees, providing them with company history and product familiarization.
Chris joined Kawneer in 1988, working first in customer service and later as a Project Manager. He rejoined the company in 2007 as Commercial Training Manager. Chris has extensive experience in the commercial door, frame and finish hardware industry in the Atlanta market and has worked in sales, project management, purchasing, contract administration and as Operations Manager for a small business.
A Georgia-native, Chris currently resides in Flowery Branch with his wife and three children. He is an avid sports fan and has an extensive movie and music collection. Chris received his Bachelor of Science in Management from Clemson University and is currently a member of the National Glass Association Architectural Glazing Committee.
