Architectural Services Team Manager
Henry Taylor currently serves as Architectural Services Team Manager for Kawneer and he brings more than 20 years of experience in sales and marketing within the building and construction industry. Henry began his career as an Architectural Sales Representative in Detroit, later assuming the position of Field Sales for the Western Michigan territory. Henry also served in a variety of sales positions for Glass Enterprise and YKK AP. In addition, he worked with Architectural Aluminum and Glass in the marketing department and was responsible for advertising, product promotions, sales training and new product introduction.
As Manager of Kawneer’s Architectural Services Team, Henry’s responsibilities include assisting architects during project development to select the appropriate Kawneer systems, specifying the system and gathering project details. Henry and his team keep in close contact with the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) and disseminate Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) information and address questions for customers. Henry supports Kawneer’s efforts at the Greenbuild International Conference and Expo by providing architectural services support and works with the American Institute of Architects (AIA) to keep Kawneer’s Continuing Education System (CES) programs current as well as create new CES programs for the company. In 2009, Henry was also elected Chairman of the Glass Association of North America’s (GANA) Building Envelope Contractors (BEC) division for a two-year term.
Henry was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia and holds a BBA in Marketing from Georgia State University. He will be graduating in May 2010 with an MBA from Kennesaw State University.
