Denver Union Station Transit Center

Denver, Colorado, USA

The renovation of Denver Union Station aimed to reshape how Denver’s residents live, work and enjoy the city center. The station consists of a historic terminal building, an open-air train hall, a 22-gate underground bus terminal and a light rail station. Many of the building’s original details were revitalized and modernized to serve their present-day objectives, while still maintaining the building’s historical importance.

Kawneer’s 1600UT System™1 Curtain Wall, 1600UT System™2 Curtain Wall, Trifab® VersaGlaze® 451/451T Framing System and 350/500 Tuffline® Entrances were used to help improve the energy efficiency, occupant comfort, sound and thermal performance of the station while being able to withstand heavy traffic and extreme climates.
