Kawneer boosts its London presence

Two Davids are set to take on the Goliath city.

Such is the popularity of the London office it opened two years ago that Kawneer has boosted its representation there.

The leading manufacturer of architectural aluminium glazing systems has announced two important appointments – both called David - aimed at further enhancing its service to architects in the capital and the South-East.

David Scott will work closely with designers as Kawneer’s proposals engineer for London. He brings 11 years of construction experience with him, most recently with a façade contractor. He has studied civil engineering and recently achieved a Distinction MSc in BIM and Integrated Design from the University of Salford.

David Rees is the new architectural adviser for the South-East. He joins the company with 35 years of construction sales expertise, most recently on the glazing systems side. He has also worked in the façade panelling, bathroom pod and concrete and brick sectors as well as e-commerce and communication systems.

A keen golfer, photographer and skier, David will share with Kawneer the strong connections he has built up over the decades with some of the UK's largest architects and contractors.

Kawneer’s London office in the heart of Soho, which supports its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Runcorn, Cheshire, was designed to enable capital-based specifiers to get up close and personal with samples of the company’s curtain walling, window and door systems.
