The MetroView® 4-SSG Window Wall is an advanced window wall system from Kawneer, designed to meet project requirements across North America, from the toughest climates to the boldest architectural visions. This innovative unitized window wall combines clean, all-glass aesthetic with the high performance, resiliency and design flexibility that modern architecture demands.
This new Window Wall system is designed for high performance buildings, delivering exceptional thermal efficiency that supports compliance with regional energy codes and helps architects achieve sustainability goals. In addition to thermal benefits, MetroView® 4-SSG offers strong acoustic performance to reduce exterior noise transmission, making it well suited for multifamily and dense urban environments. Manufactured using low carbon aluminum with at least 50% recycled content, with the remaining material sourced from hydroelectric or clean energy smelters, the system supports responsible material selection without compromising performance.
The system is also designed to meet seismic performance requirements, supporting resiliency in earthquake-prone regions. Impact testing for the MetroView® 4-SSG Window Wall is planned for later in 2026 to achieve Florida Product Approvals (FPA) and Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) certification.

With its slab-to-slab construction, the MetroView® 4-SSG Window Wall enables uninterrupted glass panels, delivering the minimalist, all-glass aesthetic of a curtain wall. It supports the largest glass sizes of any Kawneer window wall – up to 5’ wide and 14’ tall – giving occupants expansive views while maximizing natural light and reducing reliance on artificial lighting.
The flexibility of the MetroView® 4‑SSG Window Wall allows seamless integration with other Kawneer solutions, creating a cohesive, single‑source facade. The system can be efficiently paired with compatible balcony entrances such as 2000T Terrace Doors and GLASSvent® UT (Ultra Thermal) Windows. This proven compatibility gives designers greater versatility while maintaining a consistent aesthetic and reliable performance across the building envelope.
